Cemetery

 

The Prairie County Cemetery Board requests that all flowers and decorations be removed from the cemetery by June 10th. Regular Cemetery care and maintenance activities will resume, and the Cemetery caretaker will remove any arrangements that have not been removed by June 10th.

Prairie County operates one county cemetery, which is located at 72 Cemetery Loop Road.

 

 The cemetery provides a spacious veterans’ section. Lots in the veterans’ section are provided at no cost to qualified veterans +/- (5'x10').

Cost of a plot is $200.00 ($30 goes to perpetual care).

Terry Opening & Closing; Casket $600    Cremation - $300

Mildred, Marsh or Fallon O/C - Casket $800      Cremation - $500
